Yogyakarta (11/05) - Starting from the loss of a wallet belonging to one of the Wings Air passengers with flight number 1814 IW Surabaya, on behalf of Mrs. Ida Farida Tamasoa. Based on incident reports submitted by Mrs. Farida on 28 April 2016, she was a passenger from Ambon, she explained that her pink purse fell and lost in the lobby of departure Terminal A at around 04.15 WIB.
After checking and search through CCTV, personnel on duty of Aviation Security (AVSEC) Yogyakarta Adisucipto Airport found one of the passengers took a wallet belonging to Mrs. Farida, the wallet found dropped in the seating area of departure lobby Terminal A. The person identified as Suparno, a passenger from Boyolali, was recorded on CCTV move from Terminal A to Terminal B to go to Denpasar use Nam Air flight.
PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Yogyakarta Adisucipto Airport via the Aviation Security on duty team who was immediately crosschecking the identity of the airline check-in counters related. The team then contacted Suparno and approached. After having communication, Suparno finally were willing to return the wallet owned by Mrs. Ida. Tim AVSEC also was a mediator of communications made between Mrs. Ida Farida with Suparno. Suparno then returned to Yogyakarta by air flight number GA 255 from Denpasar, and returned the wallet owned by Mrs. Ida Farida through AVSEC Officers Yogyakarta Adisucipto Airport.
As results achieved in performing their duties and responsibilities as an AVSEC Officer on the thefts, Director of Melati Ambon Community Learning Center (CLC) presented the Award to six (6) AVSEC personnel of PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Yogyakarta Adisucipto Airport. (Ganes/Dhika)
